The latest RMLS Market Action report will probably be released later this week and I expect it to show that Portland's spring fling with real estate is well under underway. Yes, we're in the middle of the traditional buying and selling season albeit in a strong buyer's market with high inventory.
To that point, if you're getting ready to sell your home, give yourself enough time to do the prep work. In my experience, sellers typically underestimate the amount of time it takes to get the property ready for showings. And this is one market where the prep work is needed from landscaping to paint trim to window washing, you name it. Add this all up and it takes time, especially if you have an active, busy schedule.
